The two multi-touch panel PCs SPC-1840WP (18.5 inch) and SPC-2140WP (21.5 inch) from Dr. Schetter are versions with waterproof screw connections on the rear. This makes the computers particularly suitable for use in production facilities and laboratory environments where dust and splash/jet water can occur. The 18.5-inch model with a 16:9 widescreen displays 1366 x 768 pixels on the screen, while the 21.5-inch model displays 1920 x 1080 pixels. The panels are multi-touch capable and designed for VESA mounting. An AMD dual-core processor from the 'T56N' series with 1.6 GHz operates in both fanless devices, which are equipped with 4 Gbytes of RAM. There is also space for a full-sized mini PCIe card. Microsoft Win7/8/WES7P/XP/WES200 and Linux can be installed as operating systems. The touch panel PCs are surrounded by an IP65 housing made of die-cast aluminum alloy. The connections to the outside world (1x USB 2.0, 1x RS232C, 2x 10/100/1000 LAN, 24 V(DC)) are designed as waterproof M12 screw caps.
