The design of Flintec's DSB7 range of vehicle-integrated load cells allows for easy installation without the need for extensive chassis modifications. With rated loads of 7.5, 15 and 25 tons, the load cells can be used in most commercial vehicles including light trucks, tipper trucks, refuse and recycling trucks, heavy goods vehicles and agricultural vehicles. Depending on the version, the series achieves an accuracy of better than 0.15 %, 0.25 % or 0.5 % of the compound error and a 300 % overload resistance. Each load cell is supplied with a manufacturer's test certificate. Due to the often harsh operating conditions in vehicles, the load cells are made of stainless steel, are hermetically sealed and meet the requirements of protection class IP68. The load cells are connected via a 5 m cable and a 4-pin M12 connector.
