The real-time operating system LynxOS 7.0 and the separation kernel hypervisor LynxSecure from Lynx Software Technologies now also support the latest ARM processors. This means that the military-proven security features of Lynx 7.0 and LynxSecure can also be used to protect ARM-based embedded designs for IoT applications in the fields of industrial control, factory automation, connected automotive, intelligent energy management (smart energy), medical technology and transportation. The operating system will initially be migrated to the ARM Cortex-A series processor cores, including processors from Xilinx, TI and Freescale. LynxSecure will be migrated to members of the Cortex-A family that support hardware virtualization.
