With e!Cockpit, Wago has developed a software tool that supports the automation development process as an integrated engineering tool. It can be used to configure the PFC200 controllers. They have communication interfaces that can be used in parallel, including RS-232/RS-485, Ethernet, CANopen, Profibus DP and Modbus. The controller is based on the Linux operating system. Thanks to the fanless and battery-free design, the controllers are maintenance-free and robust. This makes them suitable for industrial applications. Applications for the PFC200 are programmed using the familiar IEC 61131 editors from Codesys 3. The functional scope of the software also includes the design of modern visualization solutions. With test, troubleshooting and diagnostic functions, e!Cockpit supports the user right through to commissioning and maintenance. The evaluation version will be available online in the first quarter of 2015.
