Developer Szymon Janiak has already filed a patent application for the 'OORT' technology from the start-up of the same name in Wrocław, Poland. It enables the creation of an open ecosystem of smart devices, sensors, mobile communications software and a cloud platform. On this basis, the company has created the first smart home system based on Bluetooth Smart. It can be controlled via any internet-enabled device, regardless of the manufacturer or operating system used.
