According to manufacturer Telemecanique Sensors, the Preventa XY2CJ emergency pull-wire switches are the first emergency pull-wire switches with NiSD certification in accordance with IEC 60947-5-5. An integrated safety spring is designed in such a way that the safety function is maintained even if the spring breaks. As the system does not require clamps or eyelets, the emergency stop switches save time when tensioning and shortening the wire rope hoist. The emergency pull-wire switches to be installed along conveyor belts are available with a maximum cable length of 30 m. The actuator of the emergency pull-wire switch can be installed in four positions in 90° increments, and the electrical connection is made via the ISO M20, PG13.5, 1/2 inch NPT, M12 or M23 interfaces. The cable pull can be easily installed and adjusted using the cable tensioning device supplied. A color-coded reset button in green and yellow indicates the corresponding release status of the switch. The yellow area of the reset button indicates the emergency stop status. As soon as the reset button is unlocked, the display changes to green and the system is put back into operation. The emergency pull-wire switches comply with protection class IP66 and IP67. Their operating temperature range is between -25 and +70 °C.
