Schneider Electric enables mobile access to important operating data with the Wonderware Smartglance 2014 R2 and Wonderware Online solutions. In this way, relevant information is available anywhere and in real time via smartphone or tablet. 'Wonderware Smartglance' enables the workforce to access production data from any location. The information can be made available in the form of simple reports, analyses and key performance indicators (KPIs). It supports data from Wonderware Historian, InTouch, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Citect SCADA HMI and OPC-HDA for extended access to third-party sources and systems. The solution consists of the 'Smartglance Mobile Reporting Connector (MRC)', the 'Smartglance Server' and 'Smartglance Mobile Apps'. Mobile access is via app on iPhone, iPad, Android devices, Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8.1. Administration and management can be carried out via browsers such as IE9, IE10, IE11, Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari. The company offers 'InTouch' OEM customers a special service with 'Wonderware Online': instead of installing 'Wonderware Historian' (process data archive) as software, they can now access the same process data on their mobile devices. This means that information and statuses of machines and systems can be called up and processed from any location.
