RS Components‘ RS-9889 thermal imaging multimeter allows you to detect thermal overload problems in electrical equipment from a safe distance without the need for physical contact.
The thermal imaging DMM is an all-in-one hand-held device that combines the features of a classic digital multimeter for measuring circuit parameters such as voltages, currents and resistances with those of an infrared thermal imaging camera. In this way, hot and cool points in electrical components can be identified on a visible thermogram. The thermal imaging camera offers maximum, minimum and mean crosshair alignment to help the user identify and measure the desired temperature ranges. A Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection is used to quickly transfer thermal images to other devices via the Thermview+ app. The thermal imaging camera has a 2.8 inch TFT color LCD screen with an infrared resolution of 80 x 80 pixels. The thermal image multimeter also serves as a diode, resistance and continuity tester and is equipped with a buzzer for this purpose. The device can measure temperatures up to 1000 °C with a type K thermocouple sensor.
