The projection scanner with blue LEDs comes in a housing measuring 49 mm × 100 mm × 155 mm and weighs less than 1.5 kg. This makes it ideal for mounting on robot arms. The sensor uses blue LEDs with structured light and stereo measurement techniques to realize high-resolution full-area scans with fast scan cycles of up to 5 Hz. The large field of view (86 mm × 67 mm to 88 mm × 93 mm) and flexible recording functions enable the measurement of a wide range of features such as fasteners, holes, grooves, bolts, gaps and offsets with just one 3D snapshot. The sensor communicates directly with programmable logic controllers or robots.
